New and used books, and videos are available at the Friends of the Laredo Public Library Book Sale, starting today, Friday February 18 and running through next Friday, February 25, during regular library hours, in the lobby of the Laredo Public Library, located at 1120 East Calton Road.

Brand new copies of Pancho & Willy’s Culinary Adventures in Los Dos Laredos, by local author Adolfo “Butch” Cárdenas, and Recuerdos y Sentimiento, by local author Marilú Castillo, will be on sale for $1.00. Used hardback books, videos and CDs are 25¢. Used paperbacks are 10¢. Magazines are free. Proceeds from the sale will support library programs.
